Common Questions

  • We ask that you cancel or make changes before noon the day prior to the reservation to avoid a $25 per person cancellation fee.

  • There is paid metered parking along Main Street, and a large parking garage, China Bridge, behind the restaurant on Swede Alley.  The China Bridge parking structure provides free parking for your first hour, after which it charges $3/hr, with a maximum charge of $18.

  • We call it “mountain casual.”  We’re a 4-star restaurant, so you’ll see people dressed to celebrate, and others who just got off the slopes. We do ask that you please do not wear ski boots as we have finished wood floors throughout the restaurant.

  • We offer New American cuisine, with an emphasis on local seasonal ingredients, fresh fish and meat.

  • Of course!  Riverhorse On Main welcomes your entire family.

  • Yes.  Riverhorse has a popular kid’s menu with a healthy range of delectable choices.

  • Our dining guests are welcome to enjoy a full service beer, wine and cocktail menu from our beautiful, newly remodeled bar area prior to dining with us. This area is also open for seating on a non-reservable, first-come-first-serve basis.

*Ask your bartender about menu options as certain times of year we do have to limit menu choices due to elevated business levels.

A few things to remember while in Utah…

Being that we have a restaurant liquor license, guests must order food in order to be served alcohol. We do ask that you please bring a valid driver’s license or form of ID as our staff is required to check them prior to serving alcohol to guests. Guests under the age of 21 must be a minimum of 10 feet away from the bar top.

Please don’t hassle our well trained staff, as it is their job to follow these laws and guidelines.

  • Riverhorse is located at 540 Main Street, Park City.  We are one block down the street from the U.S. Post Office.  We are on the second floor, above Main Street Noodle & Pizza.  Look for our cool, second story patio.

  • Unfortunately, we do not have handicap access.  Because of our status as a historic landmark, we have been unable to modify the building to accommodate handicap access.

  • Yes. We have a highly praised, extensive wine list, but you are welcome to bring in your own wine. Our corkage fee is $25 per bottle for the first 2 bottles, and $40 per bottle thereafter.

  • We are open for dinner daily from 5pm to close.

  • We work with an excellent gallery, Gallery Mar, based in Park City to furnish the artwork featured in the restaurant. Almost all of the artwork on the walls are available for purchase by visiting the Gallery Mar websiteor by contacting them over the phone:(435) 649-3001.
